Collin had his large intestine removed due to severe Ulcerative Colitis in 2014. After having surgery, he returned to competitive long distance running and started Hurdle Barriers LLC with the mission of helping people transition back to an active lifestyle after serious medical conditions. In 2016, Hurdle Barriers Partnered with Stealth Belt Inc. in an effort to improve the lives of others who must wear ostomy bags as a result of surgery from IBD or cancer.
Collin is the Vice President of Stealth Belt inc. where he oversees marketing and operations, as well as an inspirational public speaker for medical events and conferences around the country. He ran the fastest marathon ever with an ostomy and recently completed the Boston marathon.
An ostomy nurse from Swedish is also scheduled to attend the meeting.
